In the past, the formulators faced some dispersing problems while working with mineral UV-filters therefore, using pre-dispersed products became one of the most preferred solutions to eliminate time & energy wastes.
Dispersions also enable manufacturers to obtain three different raw materials by using a single active ingredient. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (CCT) is one of the most preferred raw materials by the formulators & manufacturers since it provides shiny effect & nutritiveness property to the end product. Using CCT with Zinc Oxide in sunscreen formulations is a very common process. To provide these well-known two raw materials in the single active ingredient, Entekno Materials has launched a new dispersion product called MicNo DCC-N.
MicNo DCC-N is a dispersion that was contains MicNo® ZnO in the presence of Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride & Polyhydroxystearic Acid. Due to the high dispersing performance of MicNo® DCC-N, this product is a good option for cosmetic manufacturers. It provides good stability in formulations, obtaining high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) values, it is easy to mix & enables the design of natural formulations.
